GENESIS MINERALS: LEONORA / LAVERTON OPERATIONS
K-Drill’s relationship with Genesis Minerals began with a small but technically important job at Ulysses: two twin large-diameter service holes from surface to underground workings.
Mobilising Rig 6, the team completed the work in six days and delivered a high-quality result. The program reflected several of the standards we aim to bring to every job in the field: strong daily productivity, clean and well-managed samples, efficient mobilisation and demobilisation, clear communication and professionalism on site.
Over the following 18 months, that early work helped build trust across the Genesis team. A major step came at Bruno Lewis, where Rig 9 had the opportunity to perform alongside an established contractor. During that program, K-Drill achieved daily productivity around 30 to 40 per cent higher, while continuing to deliver tidy sampling, strong reporting and safe, professional field execution.
What began as a smaller opportunity has since grown into a major ongoing program across Genesis Minerals’ Leonora–Laverton operations.
For us, it is a strong example of what K-Drill is all about: winning trust through performance in the field and building long-term partnerships through operational excellence. Because sample matters.
Mineral Resources
K-Drill has partnered with Mineral Resources for more than a decade, delivering over 500,000 metres of RC drilling across Western Australia. Programs at this scale require strong logistics, disciplined planning and accountability to meet demanding schedules. By maintaining a field-first culture, investing in safety systems and providing cost clarity at every stage, K-Drill has earned the trust of one of WA’s largest mining companies to deliver results at scale.
Global Lithium
In 2023, K-Drill undertook a 40,000 metre surface diamond drilling campaign for Global Lithium. The program focused on resource definition in difficult geological conditions, requiring deep directional capability and precise sample management. The project was completed on schedule, with clean samples and transparent reporting through CorePlan. K-Drill combined technical expertise with modern systems to provide the geological confidence Global Lithium needed to expand its resource base.
Red 5 & Westgold
K-Drill maintains ongoing multi-rig contracts with Red 5 and Westgold, reflecting long-term trust and repeat work. Programs include RC and diamond drilling, with crews experienced in adapting quickly to shifting ground and operational priorities. These partnerships are built on consistent delivery: samples clients can rely on, schedules that hold, and a culture of accountability that ensures problems are solved on shift, not after the fact.

We have two offices in Western Australia, in Perth and Kalgoorlie, and a fleet of 10 rigs across reverse circulation, diamond (SURFACE & UNDERGROUND), auger and air core drilling.
